THE JOHN MORAN BAND

John Moran is a singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist.  He has performed with a plethora of artists and styles in the Philadelphia and Washington DC areas.  This is John’s first release as band leader.  This project goes to the root of John’s love of music- the sounds of the late 60’s and early 70’s vinyl. John is a public school music educator in Cheltenham, PA.(Acoustic Guitar, Vocals)

The rest of the band started playing together as juniors in high school as the top level rhythm section in the prestigious Kimmel Center Philadelphia Youth Jazz Ensemble.  

Micah Graves is a young lion on the Philadelphia jazz scene.  He is currently in his senior year at Temple University for Jazz Performance.(Electric Piano)

Zach Fisher  is currently making his bones in the Montreal Jazz scene while he attends McGill University as a Jazz Performance Major. (Electric Guitar)

John Nhoj is a versatile multi-instrumentalist best known throughout Philadelphia’s underground No Wave scene as a member of the bands Eat and DEVIL.  He has toured up and down the east coast as a member of Ceiba, Family Volleyball, Eat and Devil.(Electric Bass)

Julian Miltenberger is a flat out drumming phenom.  He is currently in his junior year of double major studies.  Harvard for Astrophysics and Berklee for Jazz Drum set.
